ʔalʔal Leather Bracelet

Regular price $30.00 $0.00

The design on the “home” bracelet is the word ʔalʔal which means "home" in Lushootseed. It includes a traditional basket design originating in the Coast Salish and Puget Sound regions. The design shows a plant growing up and out. This is symbolic of the life of a human being, growing up and growing out. The design also resembles a small structure, which is home - not simply a physical home but a greater sense of community that each of us is an important part of. We all grow up and out together, helping to support each other.

Each leather bracelet is about .75” wide and 2.75” in diameter
